The situation is clear as daylight. While Porsche is willing to use some GT3 parts to bring the Cayman to a whole new level, it'll never risk 911 sales by making an ultra expensive and stupidly fast version of its mid-engined sports car. Thankfully, that's where tuners come in.

Sharkwerks is only using what they can find on their shelves to make an even more capable version of the Cayman GT4. A GT3 throttle body, a better air intake, high-flow exhaust, a stronger 50/50 limited slip differential, a flywheel that's 14 lbs. lighter and a new set of (shorter) gears (probably the best mod since stock GT4 gearing is egregiously long). They also created a custom mount for the rear wing to improve visibility, and the resulting car is pure perfection.

If a V8-swap sounds too crazy for a Cayman, creating your very own Cayman RS is a good way to give those 911s a run for their money.
