Ford's new GT is truly a racing car put on the road, with a top speed of 216mph, a clever (but heavy) suspension and the flying buttresses of our dreams. It definitely packs a few tricks up its sleeve, tricks that we hope to fully experience someday when we can get behind the wheel. But it's also a Ford, which means you have to be able to drive it over long distances, come rain or shine.

And since long gone are the days when leaky doors and squeaky interiors were acceptable-even in a car with a 647-horse twin-turbo V6 in the middle-Ford Performance had to hit the pool with the new GT, testing its ability to keep the interior and engine compartment dry while splashing through a considerable amount of standing water. Or maybe they just wanted to have some fun. It's hard to tell with those guys.
