The original Project CARS racing game, released in 2015, was a new take on simulators, focused on in-game physics and visuals while still providing a realistic feel and plenty of car-related variety. Now, the first footage for Project CARS 2 has been revealed, and we already know when it'll be released.

Today, the Project CARS YouTube channel dropped a trailer coinciding with next week's annual Electronic Enterainment Expo, which confirms the September 22nd release date that leaked on the the game's official site yesterday.

The trailer features a whole bunch of different motorsports, including World Rallycross, IndyCar, Formula One, and even vintage racing. It seems that drift cars also make an appearance, as well as cars from the IMSA Weathertech Championship and the FIA World Endurance Series.

The trailer's description says Project CARS 2 will be available worldwide on Xbox One, PC, and Playstation 4 on the above release date. We can't wait to get our hands on it.
