If You Race an Ariel Nomad Through a Muddy Farm, Prepare to Get Dirty
There's not much the Ariel Nomad can't handle. Despite the car's mid-engine two-seat layout, it has some serious off-road capabilities that puts most crossovers to shame. What better way to test out those capabilities than to race it through a muddy farm in rainy England?
Well, the folks over at Goodwood Road & Racing did just that. In order to see just how much mud the Nomad could handle, they set up a makeshift dirt course at the farm where Goodwood's famous hay bales are produced.
What follows, unsurprisingly, is a cloudy day full of sliding and mud-soaked fun. Thanks to the Nomad's open-cockpit, there's nothing stopping the front wheels from flinging gobs of mud into the passenger compartment-making for a hilarious sight at the end of each lap.
So if you're planning on using your Nomad as intended, make sure you wear the proper attire.
