Reese's Ex Pocketed $$$ From Hello Sunshine's Sale

Reese's production company Hello Sunshine was sold for a not-at-all casual $900 million back in 2021, according to Variety. And her slice of that pie? An estimated $120 million after taxes, which...holy shit. However! According to Us Weekly, Reese actually co-owned Hello Sunshine with Jim—and the company's 2021 sale helped keep things easy-peasy in their 2023 divorce. As a source told Us, “Instead of having to split up a huge company with dozens of employees and several divisions, they have a big pile of money—and there’s plenty for everybody."

On top of selling Hello Sunshine, Jim and Reese have been divesting themselves of several properties they co-own. According to Us Weekly, they sold a Malibu farmhouse for over $6 million in November 2020, an L.A. "manor" for $21.5 million in March 2020, and a Nashville mansion for $7.35 million in October 2022.
