Yahoo Autos Ride Along as This GT3 Cup Attacks the Track
Porsche's Carrera Cup might not be a pro-level series like Formula One or IMSA, but it's still exciting to watch. Every 911 GT3 on the grid is mechanically identical, making for some truly great battles and extremely close racing. This in-car video taken during a test session on track is just a glimpse into what upper-level spec racing is like. Spoiler: it's really fun.
Dino Zamparelli, driver of the number 8 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, mounted a camera to his helmet during a testing session at Oulton Park Circuit in the U.K. to show us what it's really like from the driver's seat. Even though he's not aiming for times, Dino looks like he's going all-out, muscling the steering wheel and power-sliding out of corners.
There might not be any sweet battles going on here, but that doesn't matter. If you're into solid driving clips, this is the one to watch. Take a look for yourself.
