The Italians only built 30 of those "Diablo GT Evos," and the GTRs came with a 590 horsepower 6.0 V12, a five-speed manual and some very loud exhaust pipes. What's not to like? Well, I guess the sole problem with these monsters is that they aren't road legal, and I for one like to get my groceries the most uncomfortable way possible. Enter the GT1 Stradale.
Built in a similar fashion as the Porsche 911 GT1 and the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, Lambo only produced two GT1 Stradales in partnership with the French racing team Signes Advanced Technology. The pair of SAT Diablo GT1s were then offered through an Italian dealership called Mistral Motors, featuring a 665 horsepower V12, a Hewland 6-Speed sequential gearbox and a weight figure of around 2500 lbs.
They also came with the most extreme aero kit put on a car this side of a current limited-edition Lamborghini, and and easily removable rear clamshell with additional cooling ducts. That's handy in case you need to change a spark plug in the parking lot, or something of that nature.
