From Road & Track

Rolls-Royce's first SUV, the Cullinan, is a far different sort of off-road vehicle than we've ever seen. The entire focus is luxury and comfort, with a glass wall dividing you from your luggage. But what if you want to tow something, like a race horse or perhaps a trailer full of champagne? There was no hitch in photos of the Cullinan when it debuted, so what would you hook that trailer up to?

As it turns out, the Cullinan had a hitch all along. Hidden under the rear bumper, the Cullinan's tow hook can be deployed with the push of a button. This hitch, which is not available in the US, is able to tow 2.7 metric tons, which is nearly 6,000 pounds. That's a pretty stout number for a $300,000+ SUV.

In the US, the Cullinan will have a fixed hitch as an option. While it might not be as cool or as elegant as the hitch on models outside our country, it is more useful. Rolls-Royce says the fixed hitch will be able to tow 7,275 pounds. That's enough for a trailer full of champagne, a race horse, and a few cases of Grey Poupon. Not too shabby.
