As we continue to spend more time at home, Samsung is betting that we all want our homes to be just so. It wasn’t that long ago Samsung announced its Bespoke line of refrigerators, a customizable appliance with different color and door configuration options. At CES 2022, the company announced it’s taking this perfectly tailored appliance concept even further, expanding Bespoke to more fridge options, plus adding a Bespoke Washer and Dryer, and a Bespoke Jet vacuum.

“The Bespoke concept was not just designed for the kitchen. We believe that consumers should have the freedom to customize their entire home to match their lifestyle needs,” said Kanghyup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing of the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “This expansion of the lineup empowers consumers to create living spaces that truly reflect their tastes and aesthetics — using Samsung’s meaningful innovations and technology.”

As part of its expanded lineup there’s now a Bespoke French Door refrigerator, and Bespoke Family Hub fridge (with a digital screen that links up to Samsung’s Smart Things portal, plus the web) in a dozen color options.

Similarly, the laundry duo devices now feature a more cabinetry-inspired flat-front design and are available in multiple color options, including black and navy. This lineup is made to blend in to a more open concept design.

Samsung Bespoke Jet Vacuum

Meanwhile, the Bespoke Jet vacuum is available in very non-vacuum-standard Midnight Blue, Misty White and Woody Green — “colors that allow users to place their vacuum cleaner where they like without disrupting their living space’s overall décor,” according to Samsung’s news release. Now, Samsung did a great thing with the Frame TV, making it a showpiece in a room even when not in use. Will we all want the vacuum on display beside the coffee table? We have our doubts, but we’ll see if we can’t get hands on with one of them later this year.

Pricing and availability for the new models was not provided. However, here are more reasons why we’re excited about the new lineup of Bespoke appliance.

Perfect for the “me first” era

Bespoke is defined as being made for a particular user or customer, and Samsung believes we want that special just-for-me feeling from more than just suits and clothing. Its Bespoke line of fridges thus far has allowed buyers to choose more color options than the traditional silver or black, extending the palette to pink, white, navy and a variety of different finishes. There’s also been an option to mix up several different color panels; one for the fridge and one for the freezer, for example.

Finally done with boring silver, black and white

The amazing color options might be a challenge to decorate around, and some could definitely become dated quickly (Hello, avocado green appliances!) but they definitely let you add more pop and punch to a space.

A “cool” vacuum? Sign us up!

Vacuums have always been appliances we hit in the basement or a dark closet. The idea of a vacuum as a thoughtfully designed appliance you won’t be embarrassed to leave out is intriguing.
