See All the 2024 Lexus GX's Trims, Colors, and Interior Options
Lexus caused a stir last week with the reveal of the new 2024 GX thanks to the redesigned mid-size SUV's boxy styling, newly available Overtrail off-road trim level, and modernized interior. While it's only being offered at first in GX550 form with a 349-hp twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6 engine, there's also a hybrid powertrain coming later on. And although we don't yet have pricing, we do now know the various trim levels, colors, and interior setups that will be offered on the new model. Here, we've rounded up photos of the new 2024 GX in all of its available colors and trim levels.
Lexus GX Premium
The Premium serves as the base model and comes standard with four-wheel drive, 20-inch wheels, a sunroof, a 10-speaker audio system, and a 14.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display. It has a three-row seating setup with a second-row bench providing capacity for seven passengers.
The only option is a Cold Area package with a heated steering wheel, a windshield wiper de-icer, headlight washers, and what Lexus calls a "fast-response" interior heater.
The Premium+ model adds equipment including a power-adjustable steering wheel, ambient lighting, heated second-row outboard seats, a wireless phone charger, a power-folding third-row seat, and park assist. It offers options including a digital key and heated second-row captain's chairs that reduce seating capacity to six.
Lexus GX Luxury
The GX Luxury looks a bit different from the Premium thanks to its 22-inch wheels. But it is a bit less capable, as it can only tow 6990 pounds compared with the Premium and Overtrail models' 8000 pound capacity.
Extra equipment includes front massaging seats, semi-aniline leather, sunshades for the second-row seats, and mirror puddle lamps. It also offers heated second-row captain's chairs instead of the second-row bench and a Mark Levinson 21-speaker audio system.
The Luxury+ adds adaptive dampers, power-extending running boards, a panoramic sunroof, the Mark Levinson audio system, a digital rear view mirror, and a cool box. The Luxury+ model's towing capacity is slightly lower still, at 6780 pounds.
Lexus GX Overtrail
Overtrail is a new off-road-oriented trim level that includes all sorts of mechanical upgrades. It has an E-KDSS function for the suspension that can disconnect the anti-roll bars, along with 18-inch wheels and 33-inch all-terrain tires, a locking rear differential, and various drive modes optimized for different terrain.
The Overtrail also has beefier roof rails, a skid plate, and other styling tweaks. Inside, it has a two-row setup with seating for five.
There's a better-equipped Overtrail+ model with much of the same extra equipment from the Luxury trim. This includes a power-adjustable steering wheel, ambient lighting, heated second-row seats, a wireless charger, massaging front seats, and park assist.
Exterior Colors
Lexus will offer eight exterior colors on the GX in total, with some available only on certain trim levels. This is Nightfall Mica.
