See How a 700-Horsepower Audi RS7 Handles Tight Twisty Roads

From Road & Track

The Audi RS7 is known as the go-to choice for people who want to get from A to B as quickly and as comfortably as possible. From the factory, it comes with air suspension, four leather-wrapped seats, ample rear storage, and a host of other luxurious appointments. The RS7's four-liter V8 hosts twin-turbos in the valley of its block, and produces over 600 horsepower.

TAG Motorsports somehow wasn't satisfied with the 3.6-second zero-to-sixty or 190 miles-per-hour top speed, so they've added a couple of things to make it go even quicker. The auto parts shop popped on an exhaust, an intake, and a stage one tune. From just these modifications, it's able to massage about 100 more horsepower from the engine, bringing the total output to 700 ponies.

While RS7 is very fast, it's also very heavy-4497 pounds, to be exact. It was built to eat up the Autobahn, not your favorite twisty roads. Audi's engineers test cars on the Nürburgring for a reason, however, so the RS7 should be a competent corner carver.

Matt Farah is given the keys to this example to find out. Instead of heading out to a nice open road to explore how far the gas pedal can travel, Farah turns onto a great tight mountain pass, way out of the car's comfort zone.

Watch and see how the big heavy Audi handles being thrown about like a tiny sports car.
