Semi flips onto Springmill Street as driver exits US 30

A semitractor-trailer flipped onto its side about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday on Springmill Street near the U.S. 30 exit.

Mansfield police and fire were on the scene assisting with traffic and the driver.

The rollover caused traffic to back up on Springmill Street temporarily. The rollover occurred as the vehicle was exiting the ramp and turning westbound at the newly designed exit ramp which opened not too long ago.

The driver, Brian Keith Robinson, 38, of Akron, was exiting U.S. 30 westbound onto Springmill Street. He attempted to make a left hand turn at the traffic light causing his vehicle to overturn. The vehicle was carrying salt. He was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control, the Mansfield police report said.
