‘The Crown’ Takes Home the 2021 Golden Globe for Best TV Series, Drama

The results are in!

Tonight, the 78th annual Golden Globes took place virtually on NBC. During the event, The Crown took home the statuette for Best Television Series, Drama. The hit show was nominated against Lovecraft Country (HBO), The Mandalorian (Disney+), Ozark (Netflix) and Ratched (Netflix).

Last year, it was Succession that beat out Big Little Lies (HBO), The Crown (Netflix), Killing Eve (BBC) and The Morning Show (Apple TV+). Other previous winners include The Americans, The Handmaid’s Tale, The Crown, Mr. Robot, The Affair, Breaking Bad, Homeland, Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Nip/Tuck, 24, The Shield, Six Feet Under, West Wing, The Sopranos, The Practice, The X-Files, Party of Five, NYPD Blue, Northern Exposure, Twin Peaks, China Beach, Thirtysomething, L.A. Law, Murder, She Wrote and Dynasty.
