The ultra expensive and ultra luxurious Bentley Bentayga and Range Rover SVAutobiography were built thanks to demand for ultimate comfort in a roomy, capable SUV bodystyle. Naturally, that means they both come equipped with some serious power under the hood. How much power? Well, lets just say these two full-sizers can blow some big name performance cars out of the water in a straight line.
UK site Auto Express thought it would be a good idea to find out which of the big estate cruisers is the fastest in the standing kilometer. Unsurprisingly, both SUVs set sports-car level 0-60 times, with the Range Rover at 5.4 seconds, and the Bentayga at a blistering 4.3 seconds. That's quicker than a new Ford Mustang GT.
Moreover, it only takes 9.6 seconds for the Bentley to reach 100 mph, over 3 seconds faster than the 'Rover. And by the time it crosses the finish line, it's going 148 mph. It might weigh well over 5000 pounds, but the Bentayga is one quick machine.
