TikTok is ‘losing their marbles’ over this bride-to-be’s $600 Disney x Vera Wang mouse ears

A bride excitedly shared the $600 Minnie Mouse ears she bought for her wedding, and TikTokers have very strong opinions on the matter.

Lina Galy (@linagaly) gained over 3.3 million views when she uploaded the unboxing of her new Disney x Vera Wang wedding ears — and with those millions of views came tons of hateful comments, so much so that she was forced to turn them off.

While we’ve seen high-end Disney products go viral before — like this wagyu beef dinner served at Disney Springs that comes with a “traumatizing” certificate — Lina’s bridal mouse ears are causing TikTokers to “lose their marbles,” according to the bride-to-be.

In Lina’s original video — captioned, “I said yes to the ears” — the excited bride-to-be filmed herself walking into the Disney Dress Shop located at Downtown Disney District in the Disneyland Resort.

“I’m getting married in a couple months, and I’ve always wanted to have a Vera Wang wedding dress, it’s been my dream,” she explains. “So I think I found the perfect Mickey ears for my wedding.”

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the limited release Disney x Vera Wang tiara headband only available at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort and Shanghai Disney Resort.

The ears, according to the blog, feature faceted acrylic crystals, synthetic pearls and 442 glass crystals — all hand-stitched onto the black velvet headband.

Another Disney website, Walt Disney World News Today reports that the Vera Wang ears cost $600 plus tax.

Despite gaining over 349,000 likes, Lina’s video garnered a ton of hateful comments, forcing the bride-to-be to shut them off.

In a follow-up video — responding to the comment “Vera Wang Disney Mickey ears for a wedding is peak capitalism” — Lina clarified a few points about the elaborate Minnie Mouse ears — including the fact that she will not be walking down the aisle in them, an issue many TikTokers seemed concerned with.

“Are you wearing these for the actual wedding!!? (No judgement I love it!) or just for like wedding events (showers, parties, etc.),” one user asked in the comments.

“Not for the wedding, for the park right after,” Lina explained.

“Could I ask you how much they were?” another user asked.

“600 😅 I would say if I wasn’t getting married I would of never spent that much money on ears,” Lina replied.
