With deliveries of the mid-sizer slated to begin rolling out this month, now is the perfect time to build out your ideal Toyota truck.

The all-new 2024 Toyota Tacoma lineup represents a huge step on from its aging predecessor, providing customers with a significantly more comfortable and well-equipped package. Customers will have eight trim levels to choose from when ordering, including SR, SR5, TRD PreRunner, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, TRD Pro and Trailhunter. Those eight trims are denoted by three different variants of the automaker’s 2.4-liter turbocharged four-pot, which provides 228 hp in standard guise, 278 hp on the mid-grade trims, and 326 hp when paired with the hybrid system in the TRD Pro and Trailhunter versions. Mated to those engines will be either a six-speed manual or an automatic gearbox, though the stick isn’t available on all trims. Toyota still also offers the truck in both 5-ft and 6-ft bed configurations, with rear- and four-wheel-drive powertrain setups available.
