Ride Along as This De Tomaso Pantera Conquers a Hillclimb Course

Hillclimb videos are always entertaining, but we think this one might be one of the best, especially if you're into vintage metal. It's in-car video footage from a De Tomaso Pantera race car, snagged during the 2018 Vernasca Silver Flag historic hillclimb event in Italy.

The car, owned and driven by Luigi Moreschi, produces 51o horsepower from its 5.7-liter naturally aspirated Ford V8, according to the video description. Moreover, the car is said to weigh just 1100 kilograms, or around 2425 pounds. In other words, it's about as light as a Miata, with nearly triple the horsepower.

Because you're able to see the in-cabin footage, there's plenty of gated manual shifter action too. Pair that with the sound and the speed, and you have yourself a seriously entertaining way to burn through seven minutes of your day. Check out the clip below.
