Top Gear's Richard Hammond Revisits Rimac For The First Time Since Almost Dying In One

Revisiting the scene of a bad crash or even just the type of vehicle you crashed in can be pretty nerve-wracking. I mean, I crashed the hell out of a Ural sidecar back in 2018 and I still get chills when I see one, so I feel like I have a bit of an understanding of what Richard Hammond is experiencing when he climbs into the Rimac Nevera in this Drivetribe video.

If you don’t remember, way back in 2017, Hammond (of Top Gear and The Grand Tour fame) entered the Rimac Concept One in a Swiss hill climb event. He made it up the hill without incident despite the absurd power levels of the Rimac only to crash after crossing the finish line, falling over 150 feet down the side of the mountain, rolling the car three times in the process. The car saved his life but was a total write-off.
