The Ultimate Lancia Delta Integrale Now Comes in Safari Form
Automobili Amos has been producing exceptional Lancia Delta Integrale Futurista builds since 2018, but those $350,000 takes on the homologation special were not something you wanted to take onto your nearest rally stage. For people with the means to buy a six-figure 80s Italian hatchback, that presented a major issue. Fear not, as Automobili Amos has solved it with the creation of the gravel-slinging Lancia Delta Integrale Safarista.
Unlike the Futurista that is built for road driving, the Safarista is designed for serious loose surface action. That means a reinforced chassis, a roll cage, and underbody protection. An adjustable suspension and a hydraulic handbrake provide the control you need for rally stage driving, while off-road tires add the necessary grip. The car is not packing an enormous new turbocharged engine or anything, but anti-lag, cooling changes, and a new ECU get the existing motor to 395 horsepower sent through a five-speed sequential transmission.
