The best muscle car trio of the ‘60s and ‘70s.

In 1965 there was pretty much one car that you could drive to impress anyone driving your way, The Ford Mustang. This particular red example is probably the perfect vehicle to describe such phenomena with a black convertible top, vintage rally wheels, and a roaring V8 under the hood. Within that Powerhouse is a whopping 289 cubic inches of displacement which were pretty great at putting out efficient power back in the day. On top of that, you got a C4 automatic transmission and a pretty new performance Edition, bucket seats.

If you love convertible Mustangs from previous generations, then you might also find a ton of joy behind the wheel of this 1972 model. Also painted in red, this car has 302 cubic inches which are also connected to an automatic transmission. Essentially, this Mustang was bigger, faster, and generally speaking better than all of the ‘Stangs that came before it which is exactly why it became such an iconic symbol of the early 1970s. Well, the mileage is unknown, Mustang has recently undergone renovation making it the sort of vehicle you'll be able to enjoy for years to come.

Maybe you love muscle cars from the early 1970s but neither of those Fords appeals to you in the same way a GM vehicle might. That's exactly where this 1972 Chevrolet Malibu comes into the picture but with its green body, white racing stripes, and matching convertible white top. This 350 cubic inches V8 powered muscle car is the epitome of vintage speed and other features like a three-speed automatic back that up pretty well. Overall, all three of these cars are great examples of what performance looked like in their times which is why you should consider purchasing the vehicles if you love classics.
