Along with a fresh exterior design, the next-generation Mini Countryman has debuted with a newfound sense of style for its interior.

The new Countryman sports the same circular infotainment display as the new Cooper hatchback, and it also gets Mini's new software interface which provides a lot of options for customization.

A large fabric panel covers most of the dashboard. Underneath, ambient lighting elements provide artful backlighting that can change shape and color depending on what drive mode is selected.

More fabric panels adorn the doors and are made from recycled polyester. Here, a cool ombre pattern fades from teal to gold.

A bank of toggle switches remains at the center of the dashboard, but it's been simplified from the set of switches that was located here in the previous-generation model.

See that lower steering wheel spoke? it's actually a woven strap of fabric.

Handsome and comfortable seats are rendered here in a camel-colored leather.

Rose gold accents throughout the cabin match similar elements on the Countryman's exterior.

Even the stereo system's tweeter speakers are hidden behind rose gold grilles.

The new Countryman has a longer wheelbase than the previous-generation model, opening up more space for passengers and cargo.
