Ferrari took the successful formula from the drop-dead-gorgeous Roma and turned it into a convertible for the 2024 model year.

Most of the styling remains the same, apart from the new soft top and body panel needed to store it.

The 3.9-liter V-8 in the Roma Spider makes 612 horsepower and 561 pound-feet of torque, and it produces a glorious exhaust note through quad exhausts at the back.

According to Ferrari, the compact soft top allows for more trunk space.

The powered top can be opened in 13.5 seconds at speeds up to 37 mph.

According to Ferrari, a new material was used for the Spider's soft top.

Even in convertible form, the Roma maintains the characteristics of a well-rounded 2+2 coupe.

The interior of the Roma Spider is pulled right from the standard coupe, and each front-seat passenger is cocooned by a sweeping dashboard that flows into the doors and floating center console.

The Roma Spider wears 245/35ZR-20 rubber at the front and 285/35ZR-20 at the rear.

According to Ferrari, redesigning the coupe's tapered roofline for the Spider meant modifying the rear screen to allow it to fold into the tonneau cover when it is open.
