It was revealed globally back in 2021, and now at last the truck is here as a 2024 model to add some excitement to the mid-size-truck marketplace. It's not coming with a turbo-diesel engine or a manual transmission—but there is a Ranger Raptor with a 405-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6. Here are exterior photos of the new pickup.

The 2024 Ford Ranger lineup is new to the U.S. and goes on sale this summer, including XL, XLT, Lariat, and Raptor models.

2024 Ford Ranger Lariat is the top regular Ranger.

The Ranger lineup comes standard with a 270-hp 2.3-liter EcoBoost inline-four engine, but a more powerful 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine making 315 horsepower will be available in the late fall.

2024 Ford Ranger Lariat. Towing capacity on both two- and four-wheel-drive models is 7500 pounds.

Upper trim levels get a 12.0-inch screen that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability in addition to Ford's Sync 4A system and navigation. The standard screen is 10.1 inches.

Among the tech features available on the Ranger are adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and wireless phone charging.

2024 Ford Ranger has an integrated trailer brake controller as well as a 360-degree camera to make trailer towing easier, and Ford promises over-the-air updates to the system.
