Lexus has introduced a new model for 2024 called the TX. It's a three-row SUV that's significantly larger than the old RX L, and it finally gives Lexus a legitimate competitor against models such as the Acura MDX and Infiniti QX60.
The TX rides on the same platform as the Toyota Grand Highlander.
It's significantly longer and wider than the RX, providing additional interior space.
The TX fits in between the RX and the GX in Lexus's SUV lineup.
The TX offers an F Sport Performance model called the TX500h, which comes only as a hybrid.
The base setup is called TX350, and it comes with a turbocharged 2.4-liter inline-four.
The TX350 has 275 horsepower and comes with either front- or all-wheel drive.
Lexus offers base, Premium, and Luxury trim levels for the TX350.
There's also a plug-in-hybrid model called the TX550h+.
This setup comes with a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V-6 engine and offers 404 total horsepower.
The TX350 starts at just over $55,000 and ranges up to over $76,000 for the TX500h F Sport Performance. Lexus hasn't announced pricing for the TX550h+, but we expect it to start around $77,500.
