The production-spec version of the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck has been revealed, with the first customers taking delivery of the electric pickup truck at an event held at the company's Gigafactory in Austin, Texas.
The Cybertruck has retained its stainless-steel body for production.
The truck's "exoskeleton" is claimed to give it more torsional stiffness than a McLaren P1.
Tesla claims the Cybertruck's window glass can withstand a baseball thrown at 70 mph or "class 4 hail."
The Cybertruck uses a steer-by-wire system, and its rear-wheel steering is said to provide a smaller turning radius than a Tesla Model S.
There's a spot at the front of the truck's center console to store smartphones and possibly wirelessly charge them.
Along with an 18.5-inch central touchscreen, there's a secondary 9.4-inch screen for rear passengers.
