At the Tokyo auto show, Infiniti is revealing a new concept car called the Vision Qe. It's an electric sedan and previews a production model that's set to arrive in 2025. It will be Infiniti's first EV.
The Vision Qe has an interesting-looking front end with distinctive lighting elements.
Its profile is remarkably smooth, with few creases or sharp edges.
We think the lower front fascia looks a bit too much like a snowplow, but it's definitely recognizeable.
Infiniti hasn't released dimensions for the concept, but it looks like a mid-size luxury sedan.
Concept-car elements such as the large wheels and lack of mirrors will likely have to change for production.
We think the production version of this sedan may adopt a name from a previous Infiniti sedan, such as Q70.
The Infiniti is likely to share its platform with a future Nissan electric sedan.
The EV sedan will be one of several new Infiniti models coming within the next few years.
There will also be an electric SUV, as previewed by an accompanying QXe concept.
Look to see the production version of this sedan arrive sometime in 2025 for the 2026 model year.
