Toyota’s warranty coverage for the 86 matches industry norms and is therefore unexceptional. The Mazda MX-5 Miata, for example, has identical coverage, while the Fiat 124 Spider has slightly more generous coverage in order to assuage buyer unease given that brand’s once checkered reliability.
