The 1965 Honda S600 was pretty advanced for its time. The little car was powered by a motorcycle-inspired four-cylinder engine with double overhead camshafts, and weighed almost nothing. Obviously, that meant the car was a joy around a backroad. One owner thought his S600 could be more than just a classic runabout, so he turned it into one of the wildest drag cars we've ever seen.

One look at this blue S600 coupe gives you pretty much all the info you need to know about the car. Gone is the lovely high-revving four-banger, and in its place sits a famously stout 2JZ straight-six out of a Toyota Supra. Sticking out of the hood and blocking most of the driver's view is a massive 88-millimeter turbocharger. Working together, the drivetrain is said to make an incredible 1200 horsepower to the wheels.

Despite its extensive modifications to handle all that power, this S600 retains its 79-inch wheelbase, and keeps the weight down to around 2475 pounds. All of these specs combined result in 7-second quarter-mile times at around 180 mph.

Watch for yourself as the tiny Honda monsters the drag strip.
