Ever since Alpine revealed its new mid-engine A110 sports car, we've been obsessing over it. Sure, the car isn't coming to the U.S., but thanks to the internet, we can still fawn over its awesome looks and sweet engine sounds. Now, thanks to this spy video of an A110 test car on the Nurburgring, we get to see how it handles on track, too.

The A110 was revealed back in February at the Geneva Auto Show, and features a mid-mounted 1.8-liter turbo four-cylinder sending 250 horsepower and 236 lb.-ft. of torque to a dual-clutch automatic transmission. Weighing just 2432 pounds, the new French mid-engine sportster is lighter than competitors like the Porsche 718 Cayman and Lotus Exige Sport 380.

This video, captured by YouTuber fastsportscardriver, shows the A110 being flung around the 'Ring during one of the track's industry test pool sessions. Watch for yourself, because this might be the closest we ever get to seeing one on this side of the Atlantic for a long time.
