From Road & Track

Brabham's new track-only monster, the BT62 came out of nowhere, but it's here to stay, with a 700 horsepower naturally-aspirated V8, as well as a wing that gives it 2645 lbs. of downforce to help Michelin's slicks stay on course. And since a total of 70 BT62s will be build in Australia, Brabham took the car to Phillip Island for a bit of leg stretching.

While there are number of million dollar+ track toys on the market today, having a naturally aspirated V8 onboard is a huge selling point, especially since Brabham's mysterious, self-branded 5.4 liter engine happens to pair 492 ft.-lb. of torque with its 700 horses. And all this in a car weighing just 2142 lbs. dry.

No wonder why they didn't need to speed up the footage. For roughly $1.5 million, this one comes with Super Pursuit Mode as standard. And some dramatic music, unfortunately.
