Watch Some Historic Race Cars Rip Around The Nurburgring in Anger

From Road & Track

We're always happy to see historic racing cars out and about on the circuit. We're even happier to see them on the famous Nürburgring, battling it out without any concern for damaging the cars. This reminds us of the Goodwood Revival, except this time, it's on the Green Hell.

Just last Sunday, a swarm of classic machines descended on the 'Ring for the Youngtimer Trophy and Dunlop FHR Langstreckencup. Everything from a Lotus Elan to a BMW M1 Procar make an appearance, driving wheel-to-wheel in anger like any dedicated Historics racer should.

While the races seems fairly spread out thanks to the Nordshleife's huge 12.9-mile length, there's still some close moments and even a little contact. What's the fun in racing if the driver's holding back?
