We've seen some pretty wild drag cars in the past, but this one almost certainly takes the cake. It's a jet-engined dragster capable of a five-second quarter-mile time at over 300 mph. It is truly a spectacle to watch.

The dragster, "Fire Force 5," is equipped with a Pratt & Whitney J60 turbojet engine capable of producing a maximum of 5500 pounds of thrust. According to the video's description, the engine was sourced from a Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane helicopter. The car weighs 1200 pounds, has a wheelbase of 23 feet, and uses around 28 gallons of jet fuel with each run. Also, at full-throttle, it shoots 10-foot flames.

The car made a run last weekend at Santa Pod Raceway in England, laying down a quarter-mile time of 5.06 seconds and recording a trap speed of 308.34 mph. Take a look for yourself, and take caution, as this thing is loud.
