Yahoo Autos Watch Jordan Taylor's Crazed Alter-Ego Drift a Shifter Kart Like Mad
Last time we checked in with Jordan Taylor's crazed alter ego, Rodney Sandstorm, he was running around the paddock at Daytona taking selfies with drivers. Since then all was quiet on the Sandstorm front, until Taylor dropped a video of our Hooiser-jacketed hero behind the wheel of a shifter kart.
As you can see, lots of drifting is involved. Frankly, we think Rodney Sandstorm (or is it Jordan Taylor, or both?) could give drift maestro Ken Block a run for his money.
Taylor is no stranger to go-kart-related shenanigans, regardless of what persona he takes on. He uses his driveway as a makeshift track where he, his brother Ricky, and their other friends race. A recent race got kind of dirty:
Taylor will make an appearance at next month's Daytona 24 Hour race driving Cadillac's new DPi race car, but we'd love to see "Sandstorm" get behind the wheel too. Endurance racing needs more drifting.
