Just last week, Ken Block revealed he'd be taking his Ford Escort Cosworth stage rallying in America for 2018. Block's first event, the Oregon Trail Rally, happened just last weekend. Thanks to the power of video, we're able to hop onboard to see exactly how Block tackled the stages in his newly-built 27-year old rally car.

Block's rally car has no trouble sliding and jumping through the dirt roads of Oregon's countryside. Although the car is heavily built, it's still based on an old design, which makes it an accomplishment that Block and co-driver Alex Gelsomino were able to take third place overall. First place went to the factory supported WRX STI of David Higgins and Craig Drew, while second place went to Jeff Seehorn and Karen Jankowski, who were also driving an STI.

We'd say that still a damn impressive finish for the Hoonigan-In-Chief. Watch for yourself as Block and Gelsomino hit the stages in anger.
