Since Ray Harroun won the inaugural Indianapolis 500 in 1911, 71 more drivers have celebrated in victory lane. Four (A.J. Foyt, Al Unser, Rick Mears and Helio Castroneves) have won the Indy 500 four times each, while six others have three wins each and 10 more have two wins apiece.
