If you were rebuilding a 1992 Camaro RS, you'd probably swap out its 190-hp 3.1-liter V6 for something with a little more oomph. An LS V8, perhaps. The owner of the Camaro pictured above, Nicholas Morrow, plans on doing that eventually, but first he modified the chassis. And by "modified," we mean, "went totally overboard building damn near everything from scratch."

Morrow, whose car is featured in this new video from The Smoking Tire, built up an all new suspension setup after totaling the car during a canyon run. It was actually this Camaro's second rebuild since Morrow bought for $500 it after finding it long abandoned in someone's back yard.

The Camaro is now six inches wider than stock and features all sorts of custom-made suspension and aerodynamic components. Morrow even built the carbon fiber front splitter and rear spoiler in his own garage.

This is a build unlike much else we've seen before, and it's totally deserving of the LS swap Morrow has planned for it. You can read the full story on Morrow's WheelWell page, and it's a doozy.
