Yahoo Autos Wrapping a Supercar Is Unbelievably Complex
In the past, if you wanted to change the color of your car, you'd have to get it painted and commit to having your car look like that forever. But now if you want to change your car's color, you have another option: a vinyl wrap.
A wrap changes the color of your car and can let you have a finish that looks like regular paint, chromed, matte, or really anything that isn't offered from the factory. It also let's you make your car a color that may not have been available when it was ordered, or is from a different manufacturer.
That's what friend of R&T Larry Kosilla did with his Audi R8. Originally silver, Kosilla wanted to see his car in Audi's Nardo Grey, which is a great color that can look blue in some light, grey in other.
