You'll Be Able to Race a Reliant Three-Wheeler in Forza Horizon 3

From Road & Track

Forza Horizon 3 has looked ridiculous since we saw the first trailer back in June, and it's only gotten better since then. Earlier this month, we learned that the game would feature a beautiful Ferrari 166MM, but just recently, Forza has announced its best car yet: A 1972 Reliant Supervan III.

That's right, this isn't a Supervan I or II, but the highly-coveted III, which is better than its predecessors in every conceivable way (I assume). Forza revealed the Reliant in the full list of cars playable in Horizon 3 in a recent blog post, and it's an impressive collection. But first, let's talk about the Reliant.

Interestingly, the Supervan III isn't based on the three-wheeled Robin made famous by Top Gear –instead, it's based on the Robin's predecessor, the Regal. Its small motorcycle engine produces 29 horsepower and is good enough to "propel the diminutive ride to highway speeds," according to Forza. Notably, the Supervan III will be the first three-wheeled car in a Forza game.

You can see the full list on Forza's site, but the highlights include the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2, Lamborghini LM002 (!!!), Mercedes CLK AMG GTR, and the MG Metro 6R4 Group B rally car. Not a bad collection.

Horizon 3 arrives on September 27th, and we can't wait to try it.
