This has to be one of the lowest mileage M3s around!

Car enthusiasts and collectors have a rare opportunity to acquire a meticulously maintained 1988 BMW M3 with just 9,000 miles on the odometer. This stunning example, one of approximately 5,300 produced for the North American market between 1987 and 1990, was registered with its original owner until 2017. The current selling dealer acquired the car in 2023, and it is now available for purchase.

This iconic E30 M3 is finished in Diamond Black Metallic (181) and features a luxurious Pearl Beige leather interior. The car is powered by a 2.3-liter S14 inline-four engine, producing 192 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque, paired with a Getrag five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The M3’s performance credentials are enhanced by its 15″ basketweave wheels, electric sunroof, rear spoiler, and front sport seats.

The exterior of this M3 is a testament to its well-preserved condition. It includes fog lights, painted mirror caps, twin exhaust outlets, and the signature wider fenders of the M3 variant. Photographs of paint meter readings are available, showcasing the car's original paintwork.

The interior features manually adjustable front sport seats and a rear bench trimmed in Pearl Beige leather, complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Modern amenities include an onboard computer, air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and power windows, mirrors, and locks.

The three-spoke M-Tech I steering wheel fronts a suite of VDO instrumentation, including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, an inset oil temperature readout, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer confirms the car's incredibly low mileage of just 9,000 miles.

Recent maintenance performed by the selling dealer includes replacing the drive belts, alternator, and battery, as well as flushing the coolant and changing the oil. The transmission fluid was also flushed in preparation for the sale, ensuring the car is in optimal condition for its next owner.

This rare 1988 BMW M3 comes with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title. It is currently offered by the selling dealer in New York, providing a unique opportunity for BMW enthusiasts and collectors to own a piece of automotive history.
