  • Genesis has announced pricing for the 2025 GV80 Coupe, which starts at $81,300.

  • The GV80 Coupe has a standard 375-hp twin-turbo V-6, meaning it costs $6150 more than the regular GV80 3.5T.

  • The coupe body style also offers an e-Supercharged version that bumps output to 409 hp and pushes the price to $87,100.

BMW created a new segment back in 2008 with the X6, taking its traditional X5 SUV and chopping off the rear window to create a sloping roofline—a body style that has become known as the "SUV coupe." Luxury automakers from Mercedes-Benz to Audi to Porsche have since joined the profitable segment, and last year Korean automaker Genesis revealed its own take on the formula. Now, Genesis has announced pricing for the 2025 GV80 Coupe, with sales beginning this summer.

The 2025 GV80 Coupe will start at $81,300 for the base model, which packs a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. While the conventional 2025 GV80 SUV starts at $59,050, that version uses a weaker 300-hp 2.5-liter turbo four. Stepping up to the mightier GV80 3.5T costs $75,150, so the GV80 Coupe's starting price represents a $6150 premium for the more stylish bodywork.

The GV80 Coupe will also be offered with a powertrain borrowed from the G90 luxury sedan, which pairs the same 3.5-liter engine with a 48-volt e-supercharger, pushing the maximum output to 409 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. This version of the slope-backed GV80 starts at $87,100.

All GV80 Coupes come standard with a 27-inch display that houses the gauge cluster and infotainment touchscreen under a shared piece of glass. Nappa leather seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system are also standard. The second-row seats are powered, heated, and ventilated. Other upscale features include a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, and a suite of driver-assistance tech.

Going for the more powerful GV80 Coupe e-Supercharged means the 20-inch base wheels are replaced by 22-inch rollers. The 409-hp SUV also gets decked out with carbon-fiber trim, black-painted monobloc front brake calipers, and alloy pedals. The GV80 Coupe is also offered in an exclusive new color called Bering Blue.
