  • The compact crossover will join the MDX, RDX, and the battery-electric ZDX.

  • Count on the ADX to be an upscale Acura version of the Honda HR-V.

  • Acura says the ADX will be positioned alongside the Integra as an entry point into the brand.

Acura says it is expanding its crossover lineup with a new entry point to the brand. Dubbed ADX, this crossover is scheduled to arrive early in 2025, slotting underneath Acura’s RDX, which is currently the company’s most affordable crossover.

Aside from the name, and the arrival window, Acura has shared few details about the upcoming crossover. But the company will likely give the Integra treatment to the Honda HR-V. Like the transformation into the Integra from the Civic, the ADX will likely see an interior that’s more in line with the current Acura styling philosophy and revised sheetmetal.

The company did note that the ADX will sport a turbocharger. That means it will likely pack the 1.5-liter turbocharged I4 under the hood. It’s highly unlikely the team at Acura will shove the 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 and six-speed manual from the Integra Type S underneath the ADX shell, but a hybrid powertrain wouldn’t be out of the question.

Of course, this is all speculation until Acura reveals more than just the ADX’s name. With the Integra starting at $32,995, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see the ADX start around $35,000.
