A meticulously restored 1973 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne, featuring high-end modifications and a powerful Ram Jet V8, is set for auction this Wednesday.

A time-capsule 1973 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne, which has undergone a comprehensive rotisserie restoration, is slated for auction on Bring a Trailer this Wednesday. This classic 4x4 represents a blend of rugged capability and refined craftsmanship, making it a standout offering for enthusiasts of vintage American SUVs.

Acquired as a project in 2023, the current owner spared no expense in revitalizing this K5 Blazer. The vehicle was stripped to bare metal and received a stunning two-tone paint job in Catalina Blue and Linen White. A freshly refurbished removable hardtop complements the body's crisp lines and new trim, which includes bumpers, emblems, lighting, and glass.

Underneath its polished exterior, the Blazer is equipped with a rebuilt 350ci Ram Jet V8 crate engine, known for its robust performance and reliability. The engine overhaul was part of a broader mechanical refresh that included a rebuilt 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and an update to all axles with 3.73:1 gearing. These enhancements ensure that the Blazer is as capable on the trail as it is pleasing to the eye.

The suspension system has been upgraded with Rough Country springs and Bilstein shocks, providing a higher ride height and improved off-road handling. Power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, equipped with Wilwood calipers and stainless steel lines, offer superior stopping power.

Inside, the cabin has been thoroughly reupholstered in brown vinyl, featuring sport bucket seats and a matching rear bench. Modern conveniences include a Vintage Air conditioning system, a Dual stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, and Dakota Digital RTX gauges that keep the dashboard looking both classic and contemporary.

This Blazer not only drives like new but also comes with documented history, including photos from the refurbishment process and service records. With just 235 miles on the odometer since its restoration, this vehicle offers both collectors and off-road enthusiasts a rare opportunity to own a like-new example of a 1973 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne. As it goes to auction with no reserve, potential buyers will have the chance to bid on a truly exceptional piece of automotive history.
