  • The 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio get a limited-production send-off in the form of a new Super Sport edition.

  • The Giulia QF Super Sport starts at $88,365, the Stelvio QF Super Sport starts at $95,965; both add black badges as well as carbon-fiber trim inside and out.

  • Although Alfa will only sell 450 total worldwide, just 72 copies of the sedan and 54 of the SUV will be sold in the United States.

Let's pour out a glass of premium gas as we prepare to say goodbye to two of Alfa Romeo's most scintillating models. We're talking about the Italian automaker's high-performance 505-hp Quadrifoglios, which have already been sentenced to death after the 2024 model year. To celebrate their lives, which started with the Giulia QF sedan for 2017 and was followed by the Stelvio QF SUV two years later, Alfa has introduced a limited-production Super Sport version of each.

There's nothing mechanically different about the 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Super Sport or its Stelvio counterpart. Both still feature the Ferrari-derived twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6 and a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission; the gearbox routes to all four wheels on the SUV and the rears on the sedan. In previous tests, we've seen the Giulia QF hit 60 mph in 3.6 seconds (and beat a BMW M3 Competition in a comparo), while the Stelvio QF was quicker, doing the deed in 3.3 ticks.

Back to the Super Sports, they include distinct visual details, like the iconic Quadrifoglio logo's background changing from white to black. The Giulia and Stelvio also feature carbon-fiber "V" trim in their grilles and on their mirror caps. Plus, they come with black-painted brake calipers and Alfa's signature five-hole wheels. The sedan alone is available with a carbon-fiber roof, but the SUV can be equipped with a panoramic sunroof. The only available paint choices are Rosso Etna, Nero Vulcano metallic, and Bianco Alfa (Giulia only).

Inside, the 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport and its Guilia sibling get 3-D carbon-fiber trim. The racy material is applied to parts of the center console, dashboard, and doors. Both interiors also have "Super Sport" embroidered in red on the headrests along with the car's number in black, with the latter meant to highlight their limited nature. Oddly, Alfa didn't release any interior photos of either Super Sport edition, so just use your imagination.

There will only be 450 total Quadrifoglio Super Sports sold around the gold. Of that, just 72 Giulia models and 54 Stelvios will be sold to U.S. customers. The limited-production sedan starts at $88,365—a $6510 upcharge versus the standard model. The Stelvio QF SS has a $95,965 base price (a mere $1000 upcharge). Alfa says both models are currently available to order, however, due to the short supply, the company recommends requesting a reservation on its consumer site.
