Maserati marks the 20th anniversary of its legendary MC12 supercar with the introduction of two special editions of the MC20: the MC20 Icona and MC20 Leggenda. These special editions pay homage to Maserati’s rich racing heritage and the iconic designs of the original MC12.
In 2004, Maserati made a grand return to sports car racing with the MC12, a car that quickly became a symbol of the brand's prowess in motorsports. The MC12 GT1 was renowned for its blue and black Vitaphone Racing livery, while the road-going MC12 Stradale sported a distinctive blue and white split color scheme.
Maserati MC20 Icona - A Nod to MC12 Stradale
The MC20 Icona draws inspiration from the MC12 Stradale, featuring the same striking Bianco Audace Matte and Blu Stradale colors. This edition includes the Maserati Fuoriserie logo in Bianco Audace on the lower side panels and proudly displays the Italian tricolore on its doors. The special edition’s chrome-plated wheels come with silver hubcaps adorned with the blue Trident logo, and the brake calipers are painted to match in blue.
