See Exterior and Interior Photos of the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD
While we've already got a detailed look at Ford's track-focused Mustang GTD, we're now seeing its interior for the first time. Along with extensive carbon-fiber trim and heavily bolstered Recaro front seats, the GTD replaces the rear seats with a window that shows the car's exotic pushrod-style multilink rear suspension in all its glory.
The GTD looks like a street-legal version of the Mustang GT3 race car, but its interior appears to be surprisingly livable.
Inside, there's the familiar dashboard-hogging displays and a flat-bottom steering wheel with unique GTD touches.
The GTD's digital gauge cluster shows the car's 7600-rpm redline, courtesy of its supercharged 5.2-liter V-8.
One of the GTD's neatest features is this window box that's situated where the rear seats would normally go.
This secondary rear window lets the front-seat passengers watch the exotic rear suspension at work.
Along with 3-D-printed paddle shifters, there are GTD-exclusive buttons on the steering wheel for adjusting the suspension and exhaust modes.
The GTD's rotary shift knob has been adopted from the Shelby GT500, and it operates an eight-speed dual-clutch transaxle.
The Mustang GTD also gets its own welcoming and farewell graphics that appear on its 13.2-inch touchscreen.
The Recaro front seats are standard on the Mustang GTD, and they look a lot more comfortable than the thinly padded buckets on other hardcore track cars.
In addition to revealing interior photos, Ford also detailed the GTD's Performance package, which adds magnesium wheels and active aero bits.
