The 2025 BMW M3 sports sedan gets restyled headlights as part of a light refresh that also gives the all-wheel-drive Competition model an extra 20 horsepower for 523 total.
The M3 retains its twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six, though it now offers the versatile engine in three distinct outputs.
The base rear-wheel-drive model—the only version fitted with the six-speed manual gearbox—continues with 473 horsepower.
The friskier RWD Competition model is unchanged and still makes 503 horsepower.
The exciting changes come to the all-wheel-drive M3 Competition xDrive, which adds 20 horsepower and now produces an impressive 523 ponies.
According to BMW, the increase in power is thanks to a reconfigured engine management system.
Visual changes for the updated model are subtle, with new LED headlights serving as daytime running lights and turn signals.
Additional changes include new forged alloy wheel options in silver, while Competition models gain a silver border around the Competition badge.
Changes to the M3's interior are centered around an updated infotainment screen and a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel.
