The car’s history is as intriguing as its appearance. Originally delivered new to Switzerland, it has been meticulously maintained in Europe throughout its life. Chassis number 1121296 falls within the second series of LP 400 S production, making it one of just 105 examples produced. These Series II models are particularly prized for their smooth-finish wheels and lower suspension settings, distinguishing them from the third-series cars.

In 2022, the Countach underwent extensive mechanical and bodywork refurbishment by renowned Italian marque experts. This included a complete engine-out overhaul and significant electrical work, ensuring that the vehicle remains in peak condition. The car was also stripped and repainted in its rare Tahiti Blue color, while the original beige leather upholstery was carefully preserved.

The car’s provenance is notable, having been maintained by its original owner in Switzerland and later acquired by a Lamborghini enthusiast in 2005. This owner ensured the car was regularly serviced by an official Lamborghini distributor. In 2015, Jean Guikas, a well-known figure in the Lamborghini community, became the car's fourth documented owner. The current consignor, another passionate Lamborghini collector, acquired the vehicle from Guikas in 2021 and invested approximately €71,000 EUR in its refurbishment.
