2024 Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S Edition 1 Sedan Is Capped at 25 Units

If you missed out on the Mercedes-AMG One, the folks at AMG have another limited-edition machine heading to the ‘States. Well, maybe not as exciting, or as expensive, as the AMG One, the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S Edition 1 will be limited to 25 allocations for the United States when it arrives this year.

This limited-edition model packs everything you’ll find in the CLA 45 S but adds nearly $16,000 to the bottom line with its $82,345 price tag.

Under its skin, this special edition is still a CLA 45 S. That means it packs a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 under its hood that sends 416 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission. From there, power travels to the wheels by way of the 4Matic Plus variable all-wheel-drive system.

Making the CLA 45 S Edition 1 special, you’ll see it’s finished in mountain grey magno paint and features special orange accents in the interior. This CLA 45 S also comes with the AMG Night Package Plus and the AMG Aerodynamics Package, which combined add $3550 to the base CLA 45 S.

The AMG performance seat package would add another $3250 to the bottom line of the standard model and is included in this special edition. Add in the $3250 paint job and you’ll find where the extra cost comes from.

There will only be 25 of these modified sedans allotted for the United States, and they are scheduled to hit the US shoreline soon. If you aren't one of the lucky 25, consider snagging a similarly equipped CLA 45 S if your heart, and pocketbook, desire.
