Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition Gets an EncoreJeep
  • Jeep is giving the Wrangler 392 Final Edition another model year.

  • The Jeep Wrangler 392 was scheduled to sail off into the sunset with the 2024 model yeah, but has been given a reprieve.

  • The 2025 Jeep Wrangler Final Edition will hit the assembly lines in the first quarter of 2025, but orders will open later this year.

Taking a note out of Kiss’s, Ozzy Osbourn’s, and so many other rock playbooks, Jeep is extending the Wrangler 392’s farewell tour. Originally slated to shelve its 6.4-liter Hemi at the end of 2024, Jeep is extending the 392 Final Edition’s stay in the Wrangler’s lineup for another year.

If you’re wondering why this Wrangler is back by popular demand, that answer rests almost exclusively under the hood. The Wrangler 392 is effectively a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a 6.4-liter Hemi under its hood. Formally named as such, the Wrangler Rubicon 392 pushes 470 hp through the standard eight-speed automatic and into the Wrangler’s four-wheel-drive system.

The final edition also comes with just about every other option you’d want on your Wrangler. The 392 Final Edition packs the Xtreme 35 package, which comes with 35 inches of BFGoodrich rubber that wraps 17-inch alloy wheels, rock sliders, and more.

Jeep didn’t release pricing, but you can expect it’s going to stick around the current $101,890 starting price. However, if enough folks throw their money down on one of these Wrangler 392s, this farewell tour could get another encore.
