2025 Mini Cooper S Four-Door Stretches the New Mini

Rejoice four-door fans! If you thought Mini was sleeping on you and leaving you out in the wind with the ’25 Mini Cooper, you’d be mistaken. Mini is rolling out a four-door version of its latest Cooper—and plans on shipping it to dealers this September.

Like its new two-door counterpart, the Mini Cooper four-door adds a host of updates to the interior and exterior that help modernize this latest Cooper.

Launching with the Cooper S four-door, under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 that sends 201 and 221 lb-ft of torque through a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Globally, the Mini Cooper C four-door will get a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder that makes 156 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque.

However, when the Mini Cooper C four-door comes to the US, under its hood will be a 2.0-liter I4 with power figures coming closer to launch.

Surrounding these engines is a new shell that spans 158.9 inches in length, 68.66 inches in width, and 57.63 in height. If you’re familiar with the ’24 Mini Cooper four-door, you’ll notice that this next-gen model isn’t too different.

The ’25 model is only 0.4 inches longer, 0.66 inches wider, and 1.63 inches taller. The ’25 Mini Cooper four-door rides on a 101-inch wheelbase, which bests the two-door version by 2.8 inches.

Stuffed inside this new sheetmetal is the same, new interior seen inside the two-door version. Mounted on the dash is a large center display that handles media and driving information.

The larger footprint should make passengers more comfortable when sitting three wide in the second row. As for luggage space, that’s now 32.66 cubic feet, with the second row folded down, or 9.7 cubic feet with the second row upright.

With the Cooper S launching first, you can expect a heftier price tag. When this Cooper S four-door hits dealers this September, you can expect to pay at least $34,195.

That’s a steep climb from the ‘24’s $31,095 price tag, but a more affordable Cooper C variant is coming next year.
